Our mission is provision of excellent science tuition, by carefully selected and enthusiastic tutors, who are trained and continually supported by the agency. Their enthusiasm and fascination with the world of science is likely to catch on and make the learning experience more enjoyable and efficient. The key to success is a good understanding of the syllabus requirements and confidence in one's abilities. We achieve that by structured and pupil-centred home tuition, which is incorporated into our unique teaching programme. We take time to assess the problem areas in the syllabus, set realistic goals and review the progress of every student on a 4 weekly basis.
Edinburgh Science tutors specialise in one to one tuition delivered by young and friendly people who are truly passionate about science. Our tutors are young researchers, aspiring doctors, and scientists, who know how science works in real life. All of them have been through the British schooling system (either English or Scottish) and therefore have excellent curriculum knowledge, which is constantly kept up to date by an on-going tutor training. We help primary, secondary and university students by our bespoke tuition, which aims to increase understanding of science, boost student's confidence and fully prepare for the exams.
